Great stuff here Alex. There is also a fairly simple calculation you can do to decide whether to call speculatively on the river. From Michael Acevedo’s wonderful book Modern Poker theory. The idea is called minimum defense frequency, and it should be studied by anyone who wants a way to effectively calculate when you should or shouldn’t call a bluff, on pretty much any street; but especially on the river to an over bet or jam.

What sets APT apart from all other training material is it’s exceptional integration of simulated play and technical details of the game. Being able to learn the valuable skills such as calculating pot odds, equity and expected value is not easy, especially in the moment. So having those calculations available to check during training will help you become a more intuitive poker player.
