In reply to John Rowan. The Wynn is putting on some stellar tournament series lately. They recently had a 3 million guarantee that attracted 1,775 players. The series is ongoing at least until the 21st of November. They have a 1.5 mil guaranteed mystery bounty tourney starting tomorrow, Nov. 16th for a 1600 buyin.

Revisiting PokerAtlas, it goes back and forth depending upon the day. If you check the November tournament calendar, some days show the $400 and some the $140. As you know, “regular” tournaments change all the time. So the answer is always check poker atlas!

I’m trying to use the senior’s as a satellite into the Main!
I will say that the first Super Senior’s a few years ago provided my only WSOP cash!

Good article. However, I’ve also played the Aria tourney, and the entry fee is $400 with a 40K guarantee.

Thanks for the report! I was at the Rio for the Reunion but I busted out early.
I played a $600 tourney at the Venetian which I thought had great value. 40,000 chips and 40 minute levels. I made it into day 2 and a 2.5x buyin cash. Day 1 was 12 hours. I’ve played many Venetian tourneys over the years and always find them well run and good value.
A lot of folks are raving about the tournaments at the Wynn but I haven’t played any this year.
I’ll be back for the super seniors and hopefully cash enough to stay for the Main!
