Well the good news is that APT users will have the opportunity to train with GTO bots and “ normal “ bots later this year.

About 'don't balance your preflop range':
Again do not just look one side of the coin. By 3-betting only very strong hands, villain already lose a lot of value by either losing fold equity, or playing capped range vs uncapped range of the agressor postflop and have to deal with all the tough decision points. This will also benet GTO player a lot, and increased his EV overall.

About calling pot-sized river bet:
while it is true that if hero call with your minimum defense frequency as GTO suggested, facing a villain who only bluff 10% of time on river, you lose EV. However, since villain underbluffed significantly, means he checked more often on the river. Then there are various cases for GTO to take the pot down. So the total EV may actually favor GTO players more. The nice thing about GTO is that if you deviate tot ake advantage on situation A, you will lose more on situation B.
Evaluating GTO cannot be done by just look at a specific situation, but need to evaluate it strategy-wise.
