Advisors not Tournament or Cash Game specific

Hey everyone,

First of all, congrats to the creators of APT!

With that said and PLEASE correct me if I am wrong, it appears that the advisors do not distinguish between 6,9 max cash games, sit n go, mtt with their advice. I am adjusting to the given circumstance but would like a confirmation as to whether my observation is incorrect.

IF I am correct then I think it would be way more helpful for them to be game specific in their advice. I am practicing Sit n Go's right now and have read up on various strategies to take regarding playing them. Many times I am being given advice that is just not a good move in the early rounds etc.

I love APT and sincerely appreciate the work involved regarding this training site and do not wish to be observed as some sort of whiner. LOL

    Hi @cupcake , glad you like the site.

    The advisors definitely do adjust for game type. Basically, the advice is what that bot would do in that situation, and they are programmed to play differently in the different games. That said, the advisors are definitely not perfect and sometimes their advice is not what I would do in the situation. So I always recommend that you take the advice as a suggestion, but if you feel confident in what you are doing, don’t even look at the advice. Only look at it when you aren’t sure what to do and you wouldn’t like a suggestion of one way it might be played.
